Conference venue

We are excited to announce that the 6^th Conference on Creative Writing will be held on the modern and vibrant campus of the University of Western Macedonia in Kozani which was inaugurated in February 2023.

The university campus, situated within the Active Urban Planning Zone (known as ZEΠ in Greek) in Kozani, houses the Dean’s office, administration offices, auditoriums, laboratories, professors’ offices, three departments of the School of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, and Chemical Engineering), and a library.

As a prominent academic institution in the region, the University of Western Macedonia operates Schools and Departments across five cities in Western Macedonia: Kozani, Florina, Kastoria, Grevena, and Ptolemaida.

Accessibility

The brand-new university campus in the Active Urban Planning Zone (known as ZEΠ in Greek) in Kozani, which serves as this year's conference venue, is open to and fully accessible by all. Equipped with elevators and ramps, it ensures ease of access for visitors, including people with special needs. Every room in which the conference presentations will take place is fully accessible, ensuring comfort and participation for all attendees.

To facilitate the transportation of participants to the dinner, there will be a city bus departing from ZEP to the Event Plaza center on Friday at 9:30 PM.

Those who wish to use it must be at the bus stop at the University Campus ZEP at 9:30 PM. There will be two stops, at Katerina Hotel and in front of the MyMarket (Bus Stop 38, 11th October Street).

Return from the Event Plaza center to the city of Kozani will be at 12:00 AM.

The conference will be served by additional bus routes on the following days (bus service free of charge):

Saturday morning at 8:30 AM, departure from Lassani Square with a stop at Bebi, etc., heading to ZEP University Campus.
Saturday at 9:15 PM, from ZEP University Campus to Kozani (with stops as needed, including Monastiriou - Hospital).

For the days when specific routes are not mentioned, the regular city line for ZEP will operate as usual, with a ticket required.
