Biography

Svetlana Kalezić-Radonjić was born in 1980 in Podgorica, Montenegro. By education, she has a Ph.D. in literature, and by avocation, she is a poetess who actively publishes her work since she was fifteen. She works at University of Montenegro as Assistant professor of Literature for children and young adults. She published seven individual books of poetry and she is a winner of many literary awards. She is author of more than hundred proceedings, articles and papers and the author of study Oblak nad Kamenim vratima: Umjetnost riječi Ivane Brlić-Mažuranić. Besides writing poetry, prose and literary critics, she is also a rock musician and founder of Institute for Children’s and Youth Literature (Podgorica, 2014). As a mother of three incredible boys, she lives in Podgorica in love with yesterday, today and tomorrow.
